Guthrie, Hanselman, and Atwood recognized as DevMavens

Kent, Ohio— Lake Quincy Media launched their newest site, DevMavens.com on July 1st. Initially, DevMavens started with only 6 members, however, the invitation-only group has already grown to include 12 members both sponsored and non-sponsored. DevMavens is excited to welcome the 3 newest members who are very recognized and influential bloggers; Scott Guthrie, Scott Hanselman and Jeff Atwood. With the addition of these 3 individuals along with the other 9, the DevMavens have a combined following of over 130,000 RSS subscribers as well as numerous unique visitors daily, responding to announcements, recommendations and tips that they regularly provide through their blogs.

DevMavens.com is a community and philanthropic effort on the part of Lake Quincy Media to support the Microsoft developer community by providing recognition (and sponsorships if desired) to leading bloggers, support charitable and local developer events, and improve the blog reader’s experience by limiting ads to one per page on sponsored blogs. Sponsored DevMavens have agreed to not show any other ads on their blog, ensuring advertisers purchasing slots get the full attention of each visitor. In return, they enjoy a clean and information focused blog, having just a single small ad on their site. Whether a sponsored DevMaven or not, DevMavens provides ASP.NET developers with a single, trustworthy source to stay connected to the latest and greatest developments in their field.

Lake Quincy is proud to add DevMavens to their list of successful websites. No newcomer to Advertising, Lake Quincy Media, formerly the ASPAlliance Ad Network, has years of experience in the advertising industry. Lake Quincy Media is co-owned by Microsoft Regional Director and MVP Steven Smith and serves a publisher network of over 120 Microsoft developer community Web sites.
