More Information
Lake Quincy Media, LLC was formed in 2006 in order to establish
a separate identity for the advertising network that was organized by ASP Alliance, LLC in 2001. Although the company was only
officially established as a separate entity in 2006, its ownership and staff remain
the same, and all of the ASP Alliance Ad Network's existing publishers and customers
have been transferred to Lake Quincy Media with no break
in service.
Lake Quincy Media is named after a lake near our headquarters
on the north side of Kent, Ohio.
Lake Quincy Media is a subsidiary of Ardalis, LLC, a holding
company which owns a number of successful online businesses.

Technology Blog
Mr. Steven A. Smith has been working with Internet technologies professionally for
nearly ten years. Steve has been operating
ASPAlliance.com, one of the most popular communities for Active Software
Professionals, since 1999. Steve has a degree in Computer Science Engineering from
The Ohio State University
and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Kent State University. Steve has been recognized by Microsoft
as a Regional Director for
the Heartland District and as an
MVP for ASP and ASP.NET. Steve is also a founder and board member of the
ASPInsiders, a select group
of professionals who provide early feedback to the Microsoft ASP.NET team (and others).
Steve began the ASPAlliance Ad Network in 2001 with several other Active Server
Pages communities. The goal of the advertising network was to help the sites get
more advertisers with less effort from each individual site. Steve wrote the original
ad serving software using ASP 3.0 script, and re-wrote it to take advantage of ASP.NET
once it became available. Recently, Steve has upgraded and rewritten the entire
advertising server application using ASP.NET 2.0.
Steve is a former member of the US Army
and the Ohio Army National
Guard, serving in the
Army Engineers as an officer until his honorable discharge as a Captain
in 2005. He is also a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and spent most of 2004 as a platoon
leader conducting anti-IED
operations in Iraq. While there, he maintained a weblog of his experiences, which he built up into a general
Army advice website.
R. Craig Palenshus

Prior to joining Lake Quincy, Craig held the same position with
Communication Resources and designed numerous print and online advertisements,
Web sites and landing pages. Unlike many creative professionals, his passion is
to optimize creative design to achieve results not just to look outstanding. His

time with his wife Heather and their three little girls and serving in his church.
